The Thomas Centre proudly hosted the Lincolnshire Short Breaks Providers Conference

On Tuesday 6th December 2011 The Thomas Centre hosted a conference for providers of short breaks services in Lincolnshire. Organised by Lincolnshire County Council, the event was a great success with over 40 providers attending from a range of different organisations.

We have a number of organisations who bring their autistic adult service users to The Thomas Centre for short breaks. One of these organisations is Autism Care. This organisation are regular visitors to The Thomas Centre and after their recent visit, the service users wished to let people know what a great holiday they had!

On 22nd February 2011 we held a Grand Open Day for local families and organisations to officially open our new playpark, and to enable us to say a huge thank you to our supporters; especially members of Lincolnshire County Council who have been a fantastic support! As featured below, we are delighted to be able to offer Subsidised Breaks to Lincolnshire families thanks to the County Council and we are also pleased to have a range of new facilities here at The Thomas Centre, assisted by the Aiming High Fund.

New Soft Play Area!
February 4th 2011
We are delighted to announce a new addition to The Thomas Centre! We now have an indoor soft play area! This facility is suitable for children of all ages and is wheelchair accessible. Situated in our play barn, the soft play area is a welcome addition to the site. An underwater themed mural is the focus with children able to paint their own fish to be added to the wall! The barn has also been brightly painted with images of cars, buses and rolling hills.

Our New Playground is almost finished! This play park has been funded by Lincolnshire County Council working in partnership with The Thomas Centre. We are very pleased to have this partnership, which has been funded by the 2010 Aiming High fund.

New Office Up and Running!

We are delighted to finally have our new office up and running – pop in to see us when you come to stay! The new office has given us a lot more space for welcoming guests to The Thomas Centre and is a great environment for anyone wanting to pop in for a chat during their holiday.
We are also pleased to announce a new addition to our team; Katie has come to join us at The Thomas Centre! Katie is organising all bookings for 2011 and she would love to hear from you with any questions or any queries about availability for holidays in 2011.
