"We loved our Mary's House so much, we thought about changing the locks, and staying forever, but honesty prevailed!"
However as parents ourselves, we know how important it is to be realistic.
Not all the mainstream facilities can be accessed easily by those in your care.
In some instances it is simply not worth trying to stretch the boundaries too far.
Set the bar low and make sure you can get over it is sometimes the best strategy for a successful holiday!
We hope that Thomas Centre will encourage the whole family, the whole group to relax, and to recharge batteries.
For these reasons, we have put together lots of facilities on site and there is no obligation go off site during your stay here.
Here is a small sample of some of the resources in our neighbourhood.
Our nearest coastal area is Donna Nook, now famous for one of the largest seal colonies in the UK. Last year over 1,200 seal cubs were born on the beech in the period end of October to the end of December .
Natural history abounds in this region, with lots of local nature trails, plenty of fishing and endless opportunities for bird watchers on our coastal paths. The largest in our area occupies over 5 miles of coast line and covers a huge area in land.
The Thomas Centre is very close to the popular Lincolnshire coast and is situated just 5 miles (as the crow flies) from the beeches at Donna Nook.
To the north, just 10 miles away we have the Lincolnshire beaches of Cleethorpes and to the south we have the long flat sandy beaches of Theddlethorpe, Sandilands, Sutton-on Sea, Mablethorpe and Skegness.
