Welcome to The Thomas Centre

An outstanding holiday park, for those who are affected by autism, epilepsy and other special needs. Providing holidays for families and groups like yours, on a dedicated 25 acre site in a safe & non judgemental environment.

Coronovirus Update 10th July

Yippppeeeeee!

We can legally re-open our pool from the 25th July!

The following is an extract from the Digital, Culture, Media and Sports Secretary, Oliver Dowden’s, press briefing on the government’s response to the coronovirus pandemic which he gave on the 9th July 2020.

“And from Saturday 25th, people will no longer have to work out in the park or on their living room floor. They’ll be able to get back into their gyms, their INDOOR SWIMMING POOLS, their leisure centres, and jump on the spin bike or treadmill for the first time in months.”

We have just the following available for July and August.

Saturday 25th July for one week:
  • Mary’s House a 2 bedroomed house sleeping 4
  • Sullivan’s Lodge a 3 bedroomed bungalow, sleeping 6
Saturday 1st August for one week:
  • Victoria’s Lodge a 3 bedroomed house with 2 double bedrooms (one with en-suite) and one twin bedroom.
Call us for details, or use the availability calendar page on our website to reserve.
See you all again soon!

The Thomas Centre works on the following principles:

  • We believe that holidays are for the whole family, for the whole group, not just those individuals with special needs. (After all, we spend all our time planning for that person in our lives with special needs and we could all do with a break!)
  • We believe that those who care for people with special needs should be able to enjoy five star facilities. (We are parents ourselves and we like to enjoy good quality facilities!)
  • We believe the more that parents and carers can relax, the better able everyone feels when they return to life’s battles. (Or put another way, if everyone has a good holiday, everyone’s batteries are re-charged!)

We could not find these things when our children were younger.
So, we built The Thomas Centre.
