Situated down a long private drive, almost a third of a mile from the main road, you would hardly know these properties existed. In fact, many of our neighbours still do not know what we do here at The Thomas Centre.

We are private people and we use our time carefully to ensure that others in “this club” have a calm, relaxing holiday. Hidden behind our private wood, you arrive down our driveway to your holiday home that aims to meet all your expectations, the expectations of the whole family and the whole group. Set amongst wide open spaces and with lots of facilities on site, the relaxation (or the “chillometer” as Jan calls it) starts here!
Our three houses are all 4 star accredited and have been granted the much coveted Visit Britain “Gold Awards”. This means that the standards are above and beyond the level expected for 4 star properties. In fact, the only reason that our holiday houses are not 5 star accredited is due to the size of one of the bedrooms in each property being less that the prescribed size. Otherwise, these three properties are all fitted out to the 5 star standard throughout.
The views here are just wonderful, and the privacy and quality of your surroundings usually has the desired effect. By the time the first bottle has been opened and the first glass has been poured, the “chillometer” is already beginning to scale down a couple of notches! By the time you have had your first private swim in our indoor heated swimming pool, another couple of notches have been achieved!
Our three houses are part of a full barn originally built around 1865 or so. Badly neglected over many decades, we converted them in 2007, retaining all the original brickwork features and the marvellous wood roof joinery. We have one three bed roomed house (sleeps up to six) and two separate two bed roomed houses (sleeps four).
All the houses are fitted with the following:
- Fully fitted kitchens including fan assisted oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and washing machine.
- All utensils, crockery, glassware and cutlery.
- Beautifully appointed bathrooms with shower cubicles and separate full sized baths.
- All bedrooms have open plan wardrobes, mirrors, chest of drawers and wall mounted hairdryers.
- Wide flat screen digital television with Freeview and DVD players (can be removed on request)
- Radio and CD player.
- Touch sensitive dimmer controlled lighting with additional bedside lights beside every bed.
- All bed linen and bath towels (mattress protectors available upon request).
- Beautiful bathrooms with full sized bath, separate enclosed showers and all the walls and floors are hygienically sealed without the use of grout.

Victoria's House
(a three bedroom house, sleeping up to 6)
- This three bedroom property has a lush, luxurious feel with it’s choice of rich contemporary colours. The Master bedroom has a King sized double bed and an en-suite shower and WC.
- The second bedroom is a smaller double bedroom and the third bedroom has twin beds.
- Ideal for larger families with children, this is always one of our most popular properties.
- The bathroom is huge and has an enclosed shower cubicle and a separate full sized bath.
- Large hallway with downstairs WC and cloakroom.
- Downstairs is a large open plan living space with a beautiful open plan kitchen.
- Large dining table with leather seating and leather sofas throughout.
- Under-floor heating downstairs only (no radiators) and hi specification wood floors throughout. (Conventional radiators upstairs).
- Outside there is a patio area with a large table, chairs, parasol and cushions.
Mary's House & Janet's House
(both being two bedroom houses, each sleeping up to 4)
- These two bedroom houses are ideal for the smaller family or more independent adults.
- Each bedroom has twin beds (on request we can arrange for the beds to be linked together).
- The bathroom is substantial and has an enclosed shower cubicle and a separate full sized bath.
- Large hallway with downstairs WC and cloakroom.
- Downstairs is a comfortable open plan living space with a beautiful open plan kitchen.
- Dining table with chairs with leather sofas and armchair.
- Under-floor heating downstairs only (no radiators) and hi specification wood floors throughout.(Conventional radiators upstairs).
- Each property has a patio area with patio tables, chairs, parasols and cushions overlooking our landscaped gardens and stunning views.
